Customer was an automotive design and engineering company in USA, wanted to test impact and high temperature resistance of this bumper by low volume rapid prototypes. Though customer was new to our RIM technique, found it was a proper and economical solution for this project.
Rapid Custom Manufacturing
Rapid and cheap mold (made of epoxy resin and silicone rubber) enabled our RIM to low volume manufacturing large parts quickly and economically.
The finished RIM mold. Injection molding at room temperature and fairly low pressure allowed for low mold clamping force by simple clamps.
We are RIM expert in China to provide customers rapid and cheap tooling, quality and economical parts, fast delivery, especially for automotive field.
The trimmed, sandblasted, sanded parts prior to painting. Customer was satisfied with the flexibility after impact and temperature resistance testing.
